Good to Great:

Orange County Soccer Training for Player Improvement from a Professional Player (All ages and skill levels)

About me

Hey! Thanks for coming to my website! My name is Brayden Jenkins, and I’ve made this website and company because I am incredibly passionate about soccer and hope to share that passion with as many people as possible! Growing up, I knew that soccer would be a part of my life for a very long time, so I decided to play through high school, college and eventually with semi-professional and professional teams worldwide. I have played in California, Iceland, England, and Belgium. I have created meaningful relationships with great people and players in my time playing, and I hope to do the same while coaching! I was lucky enough to be able to observe how some of the best teams in the world conduct training and have been able to adapt that knowledge to the age and skill levels of my clients. I also have learned much from Matt Sheldon who runs the Youtube and service “Become Elite” which is related to professional development of players.

Session Formats Offered

Individual Session

Many essential facets of an individual session can help players reach their potential. My sessions focus on technical work, passing accuracy, ball control, and high-level decision-making. Up-and-coming soccer players must get as many touches on the ball per week, and my sessions prioritize the quality needed to improve. I recommend two sessions per week to supplement team training to be the most effective.

Fitness session

While playing for many professional teams, getting “match fit” during the season and pre-season was a priority. “Match fitness” is a concept that I have become an expert in. Decision-making, technical ability, and foot speed while tired are very important parts of soccer, especially over the course of a 90-minute game. I train players to be composed and think clearly even when their body is exhausted. I recommend one session per week or one every other week.

small group session

Many aspects of individual training can be heightened when playing with other teammates or friends. In the right environment, competition among teammates will help each player learn how to communicate effectively and use each other’s strengths and weaknesses together to achieve a common goal. These sessions work best in groups of two to seven players.
